Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus is the most exciting Ghanaian footballer of his generation, a direct, powerful attacker whose rise from a Nima backstreet to the Premier League has made him the face of the country's football future.

Early life

He was born on 2 August 2000 in Nima, one of Accra's densest neighbourhoods, and learned the game with local side Strong Tower FC before joining the respected Right to Dream Academy in 2012, the pathway that has produced a string of Ghanaian talents.

Europe and breakthrough

He moved to Denmark to join Nordsjaelland in 2018, and after 57 senior appearances and 14 goals he earned a transfer to Ajax in 2020. In Amsterdam he won two Eredivisie titles and a Dutch Cup, and announced himself with a run of goals and assists that marked him as one of Europe's most promising young attackers.

The Premier League

In 2023 he joined West Ham United, where his flair and directness quickly made him a fan favourite, and in 2025 he moved to Tottenham Hotspur, a step up that confirmed his standing among the league's most watchable players.
