Juliet Ibrahim

Juliet Ibrahim is one of the most glamorous and enterprising figures in West African entertainment, an actress, producer and businesswoman whose multicultural background gave her a distinctive presence across the Ghanaian and Nigerian film industries.

Early life

She was born on 3 March 1986 in Accra, of Lebanese, Ghanaian and Liberian heritage. Civil conflict meant much of her childhood was spent in Lebanon and Ivory Coast, where she had her early education, an upbringing that left her fluent in several cultures and languages.

Acting career

She made her acting debut in the 2005 film Crime to Christ and quickly moved into Nollywood, going on to feature in more than fifty films. Her performance in 4 Play won her Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2010 Ghana Movie Awards, cementing her as one of the leading women of her era.

Producer and entrepreneur

She expanded into producing and directing, making her directorial debut with the reality series Every Woman Has a Story and producing films through her Jewelz Productions. Beyond film she has built a portfolio of businesses, including the fashion label House of Glamour and the cosmetics brand Shades by Juliet Ibrahim.
